Hey all!
Welcome to my brand new blog.
My name is Jess. I am a 30 year old mum of one and together with her father we are working hard to raise a well balanced little girl.

I live on the beautiful but incredibly isolated Christmas Island, Australia. Christmas Island is a territory of Western Australia, however it is about 2,600km from perth, and is situated just 500km under Jakarta, Indonesia.
When people ask me about island life so many wonderful things come to mind, but it is also a very big adjustment. You can read more about my tropical island living here

Here on my blog you will find many different topics. Mum life, Island Life, My road to a better self and lots of DIY things thrown in here and there.
